I have a couple of Raya cards to make and I really have no idea where to start as I've never done any Raya cards before. (Raya is a Malaysian term for the Eid celebration i.e an important Muslim festival which marks the end of Ramadhan). I wanted my cards to have a really authentic local 'Raya' flavor... anyway, this is what I came up with, trying to stay 'green' as that's the more conventional and traditional 'theme'. I hope my recepient liked it :)

| Patterned paper is BG Curio. I used crochet lace (Daiso) within the 'window frame'. Flourishes are Basic Elements; cut into half and painted in MM Acrylic paint in Manila. Flowers are Prima. The sentiment is handwritten on BG journalling tag. Butterflies are MS Royal B'fly Punch. |
