Anya for CardPatterns 144

Ola folks! I'm back with a new card with a retro theme for CardPattern's Sketch #144. I'm using The Greeting Farm's Anya stamp with Copic markers and Pink Paislee's Vintage Vogue pattern paper.

A Winter Angel for CardPatterns

I'm back again with a new card based on Sketch 141 from CardPatterns, I'm using my favorite TGF Angel Anya stamp on this one. It's a 6 x 6 card on a white base.

It's a white winter Christmas angel!

I'm using a combination of Graphic 45 Christmas Emporium plus Pink Paislee's Snow Day here. Bling silver alphas are AC. Illustration is TGF stamp Anya with Copic markers and glitter glue.

A Cheeky Card for SSS Challenge

Hi again! I've been on a roll with the cards lately! I'm just churning out cards way faster than I can blog them and way faster than I can give them away! LOL :D

Anyway I totally love the challenge over at Simon Says Stamp (SSS). Here is the challenge criteria:
to use a SONG or FILM title as Inspiration 

Well, the possibilities are endless and the prize is amazing; $50 shopping voucher on SSS!!!

My inspiration is MOULIN ROUGE! The 2001 musical featuring Nicole Kidman and Ewan McGregor. So I'm thinking a little retro in red and black with lace, satin and blings! My favorite combination ever.

PP are Pink Paislee's Daily Junque (black) and Cosmo Cricket Odds & Ends (red).

Image is TGF Anya Love painted in Copics. Red oval frame is cut from my Slice Dilly Dally. Tickets are from GCD Studio pp. background pp behind Anya is BG Out Of Print.

The tag is from Webster's Pages 6x6 kit packaging, I just overlay a hand-cut oval (also WP) on top to cover the words. Sentiment stamp is Jillian Vance.

I'm extremely proud of my hand made satin ribbon bloom here! Hehehehe :) If I can master this and make loads of it I'm gonna save me alot of $$$ buying flowers!!! The center is from Prima.

Hmmm, it actually makes me think of Burlesque as well! Hehehe ;)

CardPatterns Sketch 125: My First Copic Card!

Yet another lovely and inspiring sketch from CardPatterns!

Here's my take on the sketch ... and this is a very special card for me because it's my first ever attempt at Copic markers! Yay! I've always wanted to try them out ever since seeing cardmakers using them on those cute stamped cartoons on their cards, but I couldn't find Copics in any local scrapbook store. Fortunately for me, a fellow cardmaker, Kim so kindly led me in the right direction to Art Friend, Gardens Mall (bless her!) I totally went crazy at the store! *guilty*


My first Copic painted card! The stamp is Micia, also bought at Art Friend. Papers are from Cosmo Cricket's amazingly lovely Odds & Ends - 'Remnant'. I'm so in love with this range now; all that retro-vintage romance. Cream trim and lace from Daiso, cheap and good stuff! And I topped it all with a satin red ribbon.
