Scrappin Studio's Recipe Challenge

I found this "recipe" challenge by Teacher Jessy on Scrappin Studio so cute and intriguing I simply could not resist. Here's the "recipe":

You will have to create a layout with these elements...
1. Only 2 patterned papers
(you can use the double-sided ones, that makes 4 pattern already)
2. One handmade flower
3. 2 butterflies
4. Twine
5. White space (super neat & clean layout)
Let's go up one more notch...
Strictly NO inking (that includes no stamping) or misting. The only free flow products you can go is cardstock, embellies and alphas

Here's my take on the "recipe":
Scrapping a pic of a chubby pregnant me taken during my baby shower back at 7-months. I am using 2 patterned papers of Echo Park's Country Drive 6x6 pad for this plus a pink cardstock as base and some yellow cardstock punched at the edges. There's alot of clean empty "white space" as required :)

My handmade flower: I used cotton trim and some crochet lace trim with a pink button and some twine in the centre. Big thanks to Teacher Jessy on the flower tutorial, check it out here.

The required 2 butterflies :)

Made a little tag using the very same 2 patterned papers. Here's where the mandatory twine comes in :)

Thanks Scrappin Studio for this cool challenge!

Thanks for visiting :)
